Patrick Mokhuane
Patrick was born in Simonstown on 26th June 1952. Patrick believes his ability is a God given talent, as his interest in art was always been with him. His preferred medium is oil and acrylics. Over the years he has attended art classes privately, and by correspondence and had a little commercial art tuition at the Ruth Prowse School of Art in Cape Town. Patrick has taken part in exhibitions at the Baxter, Fishhoek Art Society, and the Bellville Art Gallery amongst others. His preferred interest is in landscapes and has done a number of works with "District Six" as the subject. His interest in three dimensional work started in 1994,and he has been inspired by artists such as Peter Clark, Conrad Theys, and Willie Bester. Currently his works hang in various Galleries in Cape Town and in private collections in the UK, USA and South Africa.
